I am proud to be part of the Glencoe Middle School family, and I am honored to work with the faculty, staff, and students of a community with such school spirit and drive! I began teaching in Etowah County Schools in 1998, and I have been fortunate enough to work within this system since that time. Over the years, I have taught history and English to grades 9 through 12, and I have taught English at the post-secondary level as well. My wife, Brandi, and I have been happy to make Etowah County our home for many years, and our daughter, Ellie, has attended Etowah County Schools for her entire academic career.

I look forward to many years at Glencoe Middle. Education is a vital part of a young person's life experience, and serving a child during the middle school years is especially important. At GMS, we strive to empower our students and to challenge our students. By doing this, we are confident our students will have what they need to succeed in all that they wish to accomplish.

Thank you all for welcoming me to Glencoe Middle School. I am entering my 15 th year in public education. I have served as a school counselor, classroom teacher, intervention teacher, and mentor in my career before coming to Glencoe Middle School.

My education includes a Master’s Degree with certifications in Instructional Leadership, and school counseling. I am excited to have the opportunity to serve this community as the assistant principal at Glencoe Middle School.
