nstuctional goals and objectives are determined by the Alabama Course of Study for Physical Education and Etowah County P.E. Curriculum.
    1. Equal emphasis on - Motor skill development (Locomotor &  
        nonlocomotor manipulative)
    2. Interactive behavior - which demonstrates responsible personal and social
         behavior in a physical setting.
    3. Health Enhancing Physical Activities - which exhibit physically active lifestyle.
Development of these goals are provided through different activities that each student
must participate - examples:  throwing, striking, catching, running, walking, etc.
     1st  Nine Weeks:  Physical Fitness Testing - sit-ups, push-ups, shuttle run, 
     v-sit, & mile run, jog or walk (must be completed under 20 minutes)
    2nd Nine Weeks:  Volleyball skills & tournament (6 on 6 Tourney)  
                                 Dodgeball Tournament(8 on 8) 
    3rd Nine Weeks:   Basketball skills & tournament (4 on 4)
    4th Nine Weeks:   Baseball skills (plastic wiffle ball & bat)
     *Tournament* (10 on 10)
On most Fridays students will have a day of different activities.  
  Each day we will have 12 minutes of Health
