Welcome! Just a little bit about me...

I graduated high school from Alexandria High School. After high school I attended Snead State Community College on a softball scholarship. After my two years at SSCC I transferred to Jacksonville State University where I worked on a degree in Elementary Education. I graduated from JSU with a bachelors degree in elementary education.
I have been teaching for thirteen years in Alabama. I spent three years at White Plains Elementary School where I taught one year of third grade and two years of fourth grade. I then got hired at Glencoe Middle School as a fifth grade teacher, and I have been here for ten years! When I first got hired I taught Language Arts. After three years I swapped over to Math. I taught Math for 5 years. After Math I swapped to Science. I have been teaching Science for two years.
On a more personal note, I married my wonderful husband in November of 2011. We had our first child, Beau, in August of 2012 and our second child, Lily in May of 2014. We also have two sweet rescue dogs- Tobee and Bode.
