I am proud to be part of the Glencoe Middle School family, and I am honored to work with the faculty, staff, and students of a community with such school spirit and drive! I began teaching in Etowah County Schools in 1998, and I have been fortunate enough to work within this system since that time. Over the years, I have taught history and English to grades 9 through 12, and I have taught English at the post-secondary level as well. My wife, Brandi, and I have been happy to make Etowah County our home for many years, and our daughter, Ellie, has attended Etowah County Schools for her entire academic career.
I look forward to many years at Glencoe Middle. Education is a vital part of a young person's life experience, and serving a child during the middle school years is especially important. At GMS, we strive to empower our students and to challenge our students. By doing this, we are confident our students will have what they need to succeed in all that they wish to accomplish.

Glencoe is very special to me. I am a 2012 graduate of Glencoe High School. I began my career teaching and coaching at Glencoe Middle School in 2017. I am excited for my new role at GMS as the assistant principal. My husband, Chance, and I, have a son named Pasen.

I enjoy working with students each day. I believe it is important to guide students through the learning process to help them reach their full potential. My goal is to leave a lasting impact on each student that will help lead them down a path of success. Middle school can be a challenging, but exciting time for students. We want to make sure each child has the best experience possible. I am looking forward to a great year. Go Jackets!
